Wine Review: This dark red colored Cabernet Sauvignon from Kendall Jackson opens with a very fragrant red currant, clove and red cherry bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium to full bodied and is smooth a silk. The flavor profile is a very tasty black cherry and blueberry blend with hints of cola and minerality. The finish is dry and its moderate tannins build up and stick around for quite some time. While this Cab is not overly complex, the Panel did enjoy it. They suggested pairing it with steak tips or blackened swordfish. Enjoy – KWGTP
Winemaker Notes: This Cabernet has distinct flavors of blackberry, blueberry, plus both red and black currants with enticing fragrances of mocha and nutmeg. Subtle notes of chocolate and toasty vanilla add to the richness and length of this bold Cab, and are accompanied by fine grained tannins on a lengthy finish.
