Wine Review: This ruby colored Merlot from Kendall Jackson opens with a ripe black cherry bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, balanced and very easy going. The flavor profile is a mild red cherry and black raspberry blend with notes of integrated gentle oak and minerality. We also detected a touch of cola. The finish is dry and has a touch heat towards the end. The Panel suggested pairing this Merlot with grilled steak tips or a bacon burger. Enjoy - KWGTP
Winemaker Notes: Intricate layers of black cherry, plum, currant, and wild berry mingle with a hint of spice. The soft, delicate, elegant tannins of this Bordeaux varietal carry these aromas and flavors to a long, silky and lingering finish.
