Wine Review: This dark red colored Pinot Noir from Kendall Jackson opens with a fragrant black raspberry bouquet with hints of pomegranate and mild oak. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, balanced and approachable. The flavor profile is a mild oak influenced strawberry rhubarb with hints of black and red currant and black plum. The finish is dry and its flavors linger and last for a little while. This Pinot would pair well with pork medallions with balsamic-honey glaze. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: Lively berry pie notes are defined in wild strawberry and black cherry, with hints of vanilla. Earthy aromas finesse this bright wine with forest floor and dried leaf tones, leading to a velvety finish and a longing for another sip!
