Wine Review: This straw colored Sauvignon Blanc was a crowd pleaser. It opens with a mild grapefruit, pineapple and tangerine bouquet. On the palate, this wine is light bodied, balanced and slightly crisp. The flavor profile is a tasty and gentle grapefruit with hints of minerality and green apple. I also detected hints of lime, tangerine and a dash of white pepper. The finish is dry and its flavors fade away nicely. This Sauvignon Blanc is very friendly. I would pair it with scallops with spinach and orange-saffron sauce. Enjoy - Ken
