Wine Review: This midnight black colored Cabernet Sauvignon opens with fragrant black currant bouquet with hints of black cherry, oak and boysenberry. On the palate, this wine is full bodied, slightly acidic and savory. The flavor profile is mild black cherry and black currant with nicely integrated mild mineral throughout. I also detected hints of oak and a touch of red currant towards the end. The finish is dry and its dusty tannins are rather sticky and last for a very long time. This big Cab should be decanted and served with a well marbled ribeye steak. Enjoy - Ken

Winemaker Notes: Deep black cherry, cassis and red currant flavors with graceful mineral tones. Artistically extracted, elegantly muscular, with chewy, soft tannins.
