Wine Review: This pitch black colored blend opens with a mild blueberry and black cherry bouquet. On the palate, this wine is full bodied, balanced, smooth and fruit forward. The flavor profile is a tasty black cherry with notes of black plum and black raspberry. There is some nicely integrated mild minerality behind the fruit. I also detected a hint of oak and a touch of cinnamon. The finish is dry and its moderate tannins stick around for a little while. I would pair this wine with a juicy Angus bacon burger. Enjoy – Ken
Winemaker Notes: This Bordeaux-style blend produces aromas of black cherry, espresso, mulberry and light cedar which continue on the palate. The aromas are supported by firm tannins and a round finish that echoes with dark chocolate. - Randy Ullom, Winemaster
