Wine Review: This light yellow colored Chardonnay from Kendall Jackson is made for oak lovers. It opens with butterscotch, lemon and light oak bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, slightly acidic and lively. The flavor profile is an oak, butterscotch and lemon blend with notes of butter and minerality. This are hints of pear in the background. The finish is dry and its flavors are nicely prolonged. This Chard would pair well with homemade mac n' cheese made with smoked Gouda. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: Lush tropical fruit intertwines with lemon, lime and floral notes. Elegantly layered, this wine exhibits a rich texture and firm backbone with a hint of vanilla and spice to round out the long finish. - Randy Ullom, Winemaster
