Wine Review: It is hard to find quality Pinot Noir for less than $20. However this one from Kendall Jackson while not overly complex is very food friendly and appealing. It is red colored and opens with a mild strawberry bouquet with a touch of raspberry. On the palate, this wine is light bodied, nicely balanced and smooth. The flavor profile is a gentle strawberry and smooth blackberry with a touch of red currant. The finish is dry and very subtle. I envisioned this wine would go perfectly with shrimp parmigianna or a Turkey burger with salsa and cheddar cheese. Enjoy – Ken
Winemaker Notes: This ruby-colored gem delivers bright cherry, strawberry and raspberry fruit infused with graceful traces of earth, cola and mild spice accents. Oak aging adds hints of vanilla and a soft, smoky finish. — Randy Ullom, Winemaster
