Wine Review: KJ continues its run of Very Good Chardonnays with this Grand Reserve offering. It opens with a fragrant lemon bouquet with a hint of butter. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, shows some lively acidity and some life in the mouth. The flavor profile is a very tasty lemon and mild apple blend with notes of gentle oak in the background. The finish is dry and very pleasant. This very nice Chard would pair well with wild mushroom ravioli in a rich heavy cream sauce. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: Delectable tropical fruit intertwines with grapefruit, lemon and candied lime peel. Elegantly layered, this wine exhibits a creamy, lush texture with vanilla accents and a hint of cinnamon spice to round out the long, lingering finish. — Randy Ullom, Winemaster
