Wine Review: The panel really liked this Cabernet and loved that it was good value given its quality level. It is slightly opaque and dark garnet colored. It opens with a cassis bouquet with hints of blueberry, leather and menthol. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, smooth, and elegant. The flavor profile is a mild black currant with some complexity because of its hints of coffee, plum, blackberry, and a dash of cinnamon. The finish is dry and its fine tannins drift away nicely. The panel suggested that this very food friendly Cab would be awesome with Stewart’s yummy steak treats or seared tuna. Enjoy – KWGTP
Winemaker Notes: This Cabernet has distinct flavors of blackberry, blueberry, red and black currants with enticing fragrances of mocha and nutmeg. Subtle notes of slate, cedar and tobacco leaf round out the fine grained tannins on the finish. - Randy Ullom, Winemaster
