Wine Review: This bright ruby colored Zin is very food friendly. It opens with a very fragrant red currant bouquet with a hint of red raspberry and wintergreen. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, balanced, juicy and very approachable. The flavor profile is a tasty red raspberry with a hint of white pepper boysenberry, and cedar. The finish is dry and its moderate tannins are sticky and linger for a while. I thought this would pair perfectly with grilled barbecue chicken. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: "Zesty raspberry jam flavors and blackberry zing combine in this mouthwatering Zinfandel. Tastebuds are seduced by silky cedar, subtle white pepper and spice accents in this long-finishing wine." — Randy Ullom, Winemaster
