Wine Review: This very dark ruby colored Syrah opens with a fragrant blackberry bouquet with a hint of leather and clove. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, balanced and easy going. The flavor profile is a gentle blackberry with sprinkles of black pepper and menthol. The finish is dry and its building moderate tannins are nicely prolonged. I found this Syrah to be quite food friendly and I would pair it with duck. Enjoy - Ken
