Wine Review: This dark red colored Pinot Noir from Ken Wright Cellars opens with a mild red plum and gentle morello cherry bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium plus bodied with integrated medium acidity. The mouthfeel is nicely balanced, smooth, and silky. The flavor profile is a very tasty mild red plum and blueberry blend with notes stone dust, light loam, and cedar. I also picked up a hint of cinnamon in the aftertaste. The finish is dry, and its polished fine tannins have very nice length for a Pinot. This paired perfectly with my veal Diane with wild mushrooms and marsala at Chatham’s Place in Orlando, Florida. Enjoy – Ken
Winemaker Notes: Savory, floral and spice focused. Showy notes of candied blueberry and red currant are piqued with hints of cinnamon bark. Full bodied with firm mouth coating tannins.
