Wine Review: This midnight purple colored Cabernet Sauvignon from Kelleher opens with an attractive black currant and toasted coconut bouquet with a hint of leather. On the palate, this wine is full bodied, nicely balanced and very smooth. The flavor profile is a very tasty black currant, caramel and toasted oak blend. I also detected hints of black olive, anise and black pepper on the back end. The finish is dry and its flavors and moderate tannins build up and last for a very very long time. This Cab would be perfect with a cowboy ribeye steak. Enjoy - KWGTP

Winemaker Notes: Over 10 years ago, we replanted a small .4 acre vineyard on our property in Oakville with new Cabernet Sauvigon vines. The result, so many years later, is a wine that is a tribute to Bari and one that she would be so proud of. This wine is incredibly smooth and luxurious. We produced only 90 cases which we will offer in 3-packs and 6 packs in wood boxes. We will be donating proceeds from the sale of Bari's Vineyard to various non-profits that are working hard to find a cure for Type 1 Diabetes, also known as Juvenile Diabetes. In our family we have three children who were diagnosed from the ages of 1 to 8 years old. So the issue is incredibly important to our entire family.
