Wine Review: This dark ruby colored Cabernet Sauvignon based wine opens with leather influenced black cherry bouquet with hints of cured meat, bay leaf, and strawberry milk. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with integrated medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced, round, and savory. The flavor profile is cedar, black plum and black cherry blend with notes of cured meat. We also detected hints of black currant. The finish is dry, and its flavors and moderate dusty tannins are nicely prolonged. We would pair this Pinot with a charcuterie board or Chinese spareribs with pork fried rice. Enjoy – KWGTP
Winemaker Notes: This classic wine with a saturated ruby color, is complemented by a dense and interwoven complexity of tilled earth, bouquet garni, with red- and black currant and cedar. The wine is refined, with an elegant structure, precise tannins, and together with the clever use of new oak, creates the perfect backdrop to host the complex fruit spectrum. A long, and youthful finish. Pair with meat casseroles and roast leg of lamb.
