Wine Review: This dark pink colored Rose wine from South Africa is made from the Pinotage grape. It opens with a mild red cherry and strawberry like bouquet with a hint of watermelon. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, balanced and easy going. The flavor profile is a mild mineral infused gentle strawberry. I also detected faint hints of red raspberry in the background as well. The finish is dry and its flavors fade away nicely. This is a very nice summer option. I would serve it slightly chilled with bacon wrapped scallops. Enjoy - Ken
