Wine Review: This very dark ruby colored Malbec is very good. It opens with a blueberry bouquet with hints of black cherry and dark chocolate. On the palate, this wine is full bodied, balanced and fruit forward. The flavor profile is a tasty blueberry and minerality blend with notes of espresso. I also detected a hint of oak and plum. The finish is dry and its flavors and moderate tannins stick around for quite a while. This Malbec would be perfect with slow cooked barbecue short ribs. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: Our Ultra Malbec stands out for its intense red color with ruby at the rim. The nose offers intensely fruity aromas as blueberry and ripe plum accompanied by spicy notes of black pepper and rosemary. The palate is well rounded with smooth, elegant tannins complemented by a well-balanced acidity. This is a powerful and lively wine with a pleasing finish recalling black fruits, vanilla, and tobacco. The wine can be enjoyed now or aged for at least 10 years.
