Wine Review: This ruby colored Cabernet Sauvignon based wine opens with a funky black cherry bouquet with a hint of balsamic. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, balanced, soft and smooth. The flavor profile is an anise and black currant blend with notes of refined minerality and blueberry. I also detected hints of vanilla, prune and oak in the background. The finish is dry and its moderate tannins drift away nicely. This flavorful wine is drinking very well right now. I would pair it with a filet mignon in the near term. Enjoy – Ken
