Wine Review: This crisp Sauvignon Blanc from Paso Robles is a sparkling pale straw color with a gentle bouquet of pineapple, ripe peach, and wet granite, with hints of sage and lemon. Medium bodied on the palate, with bright acidity, it's clean and lively. Flavors of green apple, lime zest, white peach, crushed stone, custard, and a bit of pineapple. Long refreshing finish with grapefruit notes. Pair with bow-tie pasta with fresh pesto and cherry tomatoes. - Mark
Winemaker Notes: Appearance: Bright and clear with moderate tears and a pale straw core and green highlights in the glass.
Aroma: Aromatic with ripe green apple, lemon zest, peach, white flowers, and limestone.
Palate: Medium-bodied with lively lime and Granny Smith apple on entry, and flavors of ripe peach, tart pineapple, and lemon balm on the midpalate. The moderately long finish is lean and layered with notes of fresh citrus, limestone, and white flowers.
