Wine Review: This pale straw-colored Riesling opens with a fragrant yellow grapefruit and nectarine bouquet with hints of stone dust, cut grass, and tangerine. On the palate, this wine is medium plus bodied with medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced, fresh and bright. The flavor profile is lime, ginger and crushed stone dust blend with notes of green tea. We also detected some hints of nectarine pit. The finish is dry and refreshing. The Tasting Panel would pair this Riesling with fried calamari or popcorn shrimp. Enjoy – KWGTP
Winemaker Notes: Lovely, intense minerally nose with complex lime fruit, a touch of honey and some spice. Rich but bone-dry palate with lovely mineral extract and intensity. Quite tight with good acid structure; good potential for development. Pair with fish in a lemon sauce, scallops brochettes or grilled king prawns.
