Wine Review: This dark ruby colored Zinfandel from Lodi opens with a fragrant red raspberry and pomegranate bouquet with hints of spearmint. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied and very juicy. The flavor profile is a ripe red raspberry with notes of cedar plank and red plum. I also detected some cinnamon and faint pomegranate. The finish is dry and its fruit flavors are nicely prolonged. This fruity Zin would pair nicely with a tangy pulled pork sandwich. Enjoy - Ken

Winemaker Notes: Notes of white pepper and spice on the nose, with deep concentrated aromas of vanilla bean, oak and blackberry fruit. The palate is complex with flavors of juicy blackberries, cardamom, and licorice finishing long with a toasted, almost smoky oak flavor.
