Wine Review: This gold labeled bottle of Cabernet Sauvignon from Josh Cellars is very good. It is pitch black colored and opens with a fragrant black licorice bouquet with hints of blackberry. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, slightly acidic and savory. The flavor profile is a tasty blackberry and black licorice blend with hints of black pepper, spice, cedar plank and nicely integrated minerality. The finish is dry and its flavors and moderate tannins linger and last for quite a while. This Paso Cab is a very nice wine and would pair nicely with a New York strip steak. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: Powerful aromatic earthy tones dominate the nose, yielding to bright fresh blueberry fruit nuances. The wine is brooding with robust flavors of coffee, plum and blackberry which is layered with smoky roasted spice, finishing with a long and harmonious balance.
