Wine Review: This ruby colored Cabernet opens with a mild black cherry bouquet with a hint of rose. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, balanced, juicy and fruit forward. The flavor profile is a blend of red currant and plum with hints of strawberry and black cherry. The finish is dry and its mild tannins drift away nicely. This wine would pair well with blackened grilled salmon. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: Rich, aromatic dark fruits and baking spices delight the nose, yielding fresh plum and blackberry fruit, violet, dried fig, vanilla bean and Chinese Five-Spice. The wine is juicy with the plum and blackberry flavors prominent, layered with smoky and sappy maple wood, roasted almonds and hazelnuts, finishing long with fine, firm tannins.
