Wine Review: This very dark opaque purple colored Syrah opens with a blackberry bouquet with a hint of spice. On the palate, this wine is full bodied, very well balanced and extremely smooth. The flavor profile is a blueberry and dusty blackberry blend. There is also a dash of spice as well. The finish is rather dry and its building, but well managed tannins are nicely prolonged. Over the next few years, pair this very elegant Syrah with filet mignon. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: Notes of caramel, nutmeg and heady floral aromas followed by tobacco, white pepper and black plum pave the way for great texture on the palate, velvety tannins and rich earthy flavors yielding to a persistent length.
