Wine Review: This very dark opaque purple colored wine opens with a mild black currant bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, nicely balanced, and juicy. The flavor profile is black cherry with hints of black pepper. The finish is quite dry, very prolonged, and lengthy. Pair this young Cab with prime rib and enjoy. Cheer - Ken
Winemaker Notes: The inky, purple-black color of the 2006 Cabernet yields rich, bright fruit on the nose and is layered with ripe blackberry, red plum, cream, tobacco, and anise aromas followed by juicy, ripe raspberry and rich, dark fruit flavors. Sweet tannins are nicely integrated and the wine ends with excellent structure, length, and balance.
