Wine Review: This light yellow colored Chardonnay from Joseph Phelps is very good. It opens with an inviting mild pear bouquet with a hint of oak. On the palate, this wine is full bodied, slightly acidic, clean and nicely coats your mouth. The flavor profile is a lemon and green apple blend with notes of white pepper and pear. The finish is dry and its fades away nicely. The Panel would pair this Chard with a seafood casserole or oysters Rockefeller. Enjoy - KWGTP
Winemaker Notes: The 2016 Chardonnay has a fragrant bouquet mix of honeysuckle, green apple and lemon peel with richly layered baked apple, stone fruit and a light toasty oak influence. A bright and focused wine with pleasing mouth feel and a delicate tropical touch on the finish.
