Wine Review: This yellow colored Chardonnay opens with an apple and pear like bouquet with notes of pleasant oak. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied and very nicely balanced between it acidity and fruit. The flavor profile is an appealing apple and lemon blend with notes of nicely integrated mild oak and white pepper. The finish is dry and its flavors last for quite some time after the wine is gone. This wine would pair well with chicken and wild mushroom tortellini smothered with a butter cream sauce. Enjoy – Ken
Winemaker Notes: This wine is a mix of the best selections from the estate plantings, including some heirloom selections that define its character and structure. Initial aromas fill the senses with stone fruit and honeysuckle followed by citrus zest, wet stone, vanilla and toasted brioche. With a rich, creamy texture cut by crisp acidity, this Chardonnay has great intensity with vibrant, concentrated citrus, lemongrass, peach, honey and lemon creme brulee flavors. A full-bodied wine that is texturally complete with balanced minerality and a lingering finish.
