Wine Review: This dark red colored Pinot Noir from Joseph Drouhin opens with a mild lingonberry bouquet with a hint of cherry. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with medium acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced, round and bright. The flavor profile is a mild pomegranate, rhubarb, and loam blend with notes of black tea and cinnamon. I also picked up some hints of cherry. The finish is rather dry, and its moderate tannins are quite extended. I would decant this Pinot briefly before serving it with beef bourguignon. Enjoy – Ken
Winemaker Notes: A wine full of charm: bright ruby color and a nose rich with aromas of red fruit (raspberry, red currants, wild strawberry). On the palate, the wine is pleasant, fruity and refreshing, with light tannins and great elegance.
