Wine Review: This light yellow colored Chardonnay from Joe Carr opens with fragrant pear bouquet with notes of banana. On the palate, this wine is medium to full bodied and very nicely coats your mouth. The flavor profile is a blend of pear and banana with notes of almond and hints of buttered popcorn and papaya. The finish is dry and its flavors fade away nicely. This Chardonnay is food friendly and out pair well with trout almondine. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: The wine features notes of pear, creme brulee, peach, apricot, lime, almonds, and toffee. The palate shows a good mineral attack with a streak of wet stone, bright acidity, and excellent length and balance. The wine lingers with creaminess, pear and peach flavors on the finish.
