Wine Review: This ruby red colored Merlot opens with an attractive black cherry bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, balanced, and savory. The flavor profile is a mineral infused plum with notes of gentle oak and dark chocolate. The finish is dry and its fine tannins are food friendly. I would pair this tasty Merlot with mainly comfort foods. I would choose beef bourguignon. Enjoy – Ken
Winemaker Notes: Blueberry, cherry, cedar, tobacco, violets, chocolate and forest humus in a complex nose. Soft chocolate attack with black cherry and layers of chocolate vanilla and tobacco in a medium bodies mid-palate. Good length with vanilla, cedar and cherry in the finish. - Aaron Pott
