Wine Review: Pale dark ruby, this red blend from the Montsant appellation within Spain’s Catalonia region presents with intense aromas of dark roast coffee, wild strawberry, saddle leather and juniper berries. On the palate, the wine is medium-bodied, spicy and warm, asserting flavors of black cherry, raspberry and dried strawberry. Toward the exit there are hints of dried thyme and other culinary herbs. Tannins, acidity and minerality are all moderate and in balance, leading to a dry finish of extended length. This well-structured red blend represents a great value and can pair with cured meats, aged cheeses and anything you take off the grill. - Jeoff
Winemaker Notes: Soaring with aromas of red berries and macerated cherries, a thrilling expression of Garnacha and Carinena that personifies its name, "The feeling of flying”. The fruit pops with structure on a lively and fresh mouthfeel, with subtle tannin and nuances of rosemary, violets, and tar.
