Wine Review: This deep yellow colored Chardonnay from Jordan opens with a fragrant pineapple and pear bouquet with hints of wet stone and lemon zest. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with mild acidity and a round mouthfeel. The flavor profile is a chamomile tea and Anjou pear blend with notes of crushed stone and gentle oak. I also detected hints of the pineapple and lemon zest that I found on the nose. The finish is dry, and it drifts away nicely. I would pair this Chard with Emeril's Chicken Normandy. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: Vivid aromas of citrus blossom, white flowers, lemon curd and pears invite the first sip. Flavors of kumquats, Gravenstein apples and Meyer lemon peel dance with a harmonious frame of creaminess, juicy acidity and oak barrel notes, making it very versatile at the dinner table. Hints of tangerine peel and subtle green apple laced in oak linger on the succulent finish. More expressive in its youth than previous vintages. Enjoy now or cellar through 2026.
