Wine Review: This pale straw-colored opens with a faint lemon and mild grapefruit bouquet with hints of wet stone. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with bright acidity. The flavor profile is a lemon-lime and mild grapefruit blend with notes of green tea. I also detected hints of green apple. The finish is dry and pleasantly refreshing for a Chard. This wine is easy to drink and enjoy. I would pair this versatile Chard with chicken Francese. Enjoy – Ken
Winemaker Notes: A vintage defined by its crispness, vibrancy and freshness. Pretty aromas of honeysuckle, lemon blossom and Fuji apple spring from the glass. The palate boasts bright, lively layers of citrus with a hint of oak and creaminess from careful barrel aging and bâtonnage. Flavors of kumquat, lemon and Fuji apple linger in the juicy, mouthwatering finish. Enjoy now or cellar through 2023. Due to its crispness and citrus elements, the 2018 Jordan Chardonnay can be enjoyed as an aperitif or with salads or raw bar favorites.
