Wine Review: This light yellow colored Chardonnay from Jordan is very good and will be a crowd pleaser. It opens with a fragrant Anjou Pear and quince bouquet. On the palate, this wine is light bodied and displays pleasant light acidity. The flavor profile is a gentle mild mineral infused lemon with notes of tart green apple with a hint of oak towards the end. The finish is dry and its flavors fade away nicely. This Chard is very food friendly and versatile. I will be very popular in restaurants because it will go well with many light foods. I would pair it with New England baked cod with Ritz Cracker crumbs. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: Enticing aromas of pear, kiwi and lychee. The palate is round, creamy and refined, with layers of lemon curd, bright acidity and a kiss of caramel from barrel aging. A juicy, succulent wine that leaves a lasting impression of fresh Meyer lemon and stone fruits on the crisp finish. Enjoy now or cellar through 2021.
