Wine Review: This light yellow colored Chardonnay from Jordan opens with a musty mild lemon and oak bouquet. On the palate, this wine is light bodied, slightly acidic and crisp. The flavor profile is an oak infused lemon and apple blend with hints of butterscotch. The finish is dry and its flavors linger for quite a while after the wine is gone. This wine would pair well with chicken, penne, and broccoli smothered in an alfredo sauce. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: The 2011 Chardonnay is an elegant expression of a vintage that wanted anything but to be tamed. Aromas of freshly cut Fuji and Granny Smith apples, stone fruits and white flowers lead to vibrant minerality and bright fruit flavors. The creamy mid-palate is framed by well-integrated French oak and lively acidity that carry through to a refreshingly long finish.
