Wine Review: This pale yellow colored Chardonnay will appeal to fans of French Chablis. It opens with a mild caramel green apple bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied and slightly acidic. The flavor profile is a mild mineral infused Anjou pear. I also detected hints of gentle oak and a hint of green apple. The finish is dry and subtle. This Chard is food friendly and would pair well with Ritz cracker crusted baked cod. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: A soft quilt of layered fruit with only a hint of vanilla oak to seduce the senses. Aromas of fresh green and Fuji apples lead seamlessly to an elegant palate of apple flavors and subtle creaminess, framed by lively acidity and a hint of toasted oak in balance with the fruit. Apple crispness lingers in the long, graceful finish. The wine possesses a mouthwatering quality that makes you want to take another sip.
