Wine Review: This dark ruby colored Syrah is showing well right now. As a result, it was recommended by the KWG tasting panel. It opens with mild blackberry bouquet with hints of toffee and tobacco. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied and shows nice balance between its fruit and acidity. We really liked it palate presence. The flavor profile is a tasty black raspberry with notes of black licorice, nutmeg, and coffee. The finish is dry and its mild tannins are nicely prolonged. The panel suggested pairing this wine with meatloaf. Enjoy - KWGTP
Winemaker Notes: Dense ruby purple. On the nose, it shows youthful dark fruits of blackberry and plum that combine with subtle French oak. Well structured with good concentration of pure Barossa dark fruit. Long and rich, balanced by savoury supporting tannins. Quality French oak adds polish to the dark fruit, and allows the old vineyards to show through. - John Duval
