Wine Review: This medium ruby colored blend from John Duval opens boysenberry and Acai berry bouquet with hints of hibiscus tea and maraschino cherry. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with medium acidity. It is also balanced and juicy. The flavor profile is a tasty boysenberry and acai berry blend with notes of gentle minerality. We also detected hints of blood orange, maraschino cherry and white tea. The finish is dry and its medium supple tannins and fruit drift away nicely. We would pair this elegant wine with Peking duck or lamb lollipops. Enjoy – KWGTP
