Wine Review: This slightly cloudy and dark ruby colored SGM opens with an acai berry and boysenberry bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, balanced and smooth. The flavor profile is a very tasty blueberry and ripe blackberry blend with notes of refined minerality. I also detected a touch of plum and hint of vanilla. The finish is dry and its well-managed mild tannins are subtle. This yummy wine from John Duval would pair well with a filet mignon. Enjoy – Ken
Winemaker Notes: The nose shows lifted aromas of red fruits, rose petals and dried herbs enhanced by cinnamon and earth. The palate is medium bodied with bright and fleshy layers of raspberry, redcurrant and darker fruit edges. Supple, classy tannins lead to a soft-textured and elegant finish.
