Wine Review: This translucent and shiny pale straw-colored Sauvignon Blanc from Joel Gott very good. It opens with a mild yellow grapefruit and nectarine pit bouquet with hints of oregano and honeydew melon. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is round, a little zesty, and fresh. The flavor profile is a blend of white grapefruit and saline along with notes of honeydew melon and lime zest. I also detected hints of nectarine pit, stony minerality, and white pepper. On the finish, its flavors and acidity linger and last for a little while. I would pair this very good value Sauvignon Blanc with A grilled swordfish sandwich or with mahi-mahi fish tacos. Enjoy - Ken

Winemaker Notes: Our California Sauvignon Blanc has aromas of white peach, honeydew melon, guava, and passionfruit with citrus notes. On the palate, the wine opens with tropical fruit flavors followed by crisp, refreshing acidity on the mid-palate and notes of tangerine and grapefruit on the long, clean balanced finish.
