Wine Review: This almost clear colored Assyritiko from Australia is very good. It opens with a faint yellow grapefruit bouquet with hints of lime and tangerine. On the palate, this wine is light to medium bodied, balanced and juicy. The flavor profile is a very tasty mineral influenced light lime with notes of quinine and green apple. The finish is dry and fades away nicely. This wine is very food friendly and would pair well with baked breaded bay scallops. Enjoy - KWGTP
Winemaker Notes: Clear, palest straw color in the glass. The wine opens with citrus blossom and Meyer Lemon aromas combined with honeydew melon and baking spice. A textural and well weighted wine with great concentration. Lemon and melon flavors with a hint of flint and a saline edge. A great line of crisp acidity, finishing with a fine talc like finish. Super refreshing, a great match for fresh Australian seafood.
