Wine Review: This light pink colored wine from down under is very nice. It opens with a Shirley Temple like bouquet with a hint of watermelon. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied and nicely balanced between its acidity, minerality and fruit. The flavor profile is a gentle minerality blended with mild tangerine and strawberry. There is also a hint of watermelon on the tail end. The finish is dry and nicely refreshing. This refined Rose is very food friendly and would pair nicely with a cherry chicken salad sandwich. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: In the glass this wine shows a pale pink hue. The nose opens with lifted notes of fresh red summer fruits and rose florals. The palate displays a generous burst of raspberry flavor with lashings of florals and a touch of savory spice. A refreshing line of acidity complements the red berry flavors. The wine finishes with savory spice and a fine, chalky texture. A moreish Rose to be enjoyed now, but will reward cellaring for five years.
