Wine Review: This white gold colored Pinot Grigio from Italy opens with a lemon and wet stone bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with well-managed medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is silky smooth and bright. The flavor profile is a lemon verbena and white peach blend with notes of stony minerality and green tea. I also detected notes of nicely integrated honeydew melon and saline. The finish is dry, and its acidity and flavors linger and last for a long time. This fresh styled Pinot Grigio would pair well with pan-fried walleye or fried oysters. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: It has an intense straw-yellow color; its aroma is intense, full, and fruity, with excellent persistence. Its taste is dry, velvety, and particularly well-orchestrated for its full body. To be paired with fish soups, char-grilled seafood and various dishes based on field mushrooms and porcini mushrooms.
