Wine Review: This white gold colored Pinot Grigio from Jermann opens with a fragrant and appealing ripe pear, honeyed cashew and wet stone bouquet. On the palate, this wine is light bodied, pretty acidic, zesty and mouthwatering. The flavor profile is mineral and saline influenced Anjou pear and green apple blend. I also detected notes of ginger along with hints of white pepper towards the end. The finish is rather dry and shows very good length. This Pinot Grigio would pair well with grilled mahi-mahi. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: Pinot Grigio is a grape particularly at home in northeast Italy. This 100% Pinot Grigio has a deeply perfumed floral and tropical nose and bright, striking straw yellow color. Velvety smooth and persistent on the long finish, notes of ripe melon, juicy citrus fruit and a clean mineral edge feature on the full, balanced palate.
