Wine Review: This very pale straw-colored Chardonnay from J. Lohr opens with a mild lemon-lime and gentle pineapple bouquet with hints of green melon and wet stone. On the palate, this wine is light plus bodied with integrated medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is very smooth, fresh, and bright. The flavor profile is a green apple and light oak blend with notes of chamomile tea and clover honey. I also detected hints of buttery croissants, stone dust, and butterscotch. The finish is pleasant and drifts away nicely. I would pair this very good value Chard with chicken Francese. Enjoy – Ken
