Wine Review: This pitch-black colored Petite Sirah from J. Lohr opens with a mulberry and stewed plum bouquet with hints of cigar box, black currant, and plump raisin. On the palate, this wine is medium plus bodied with integrated moderate plus acidity. The mouthfeel is well-balanced, super smooth, lush, and dense. The flavor profile is mulberry and stewed black plum blend with notes of wintermint and cherry-cola. We also detected hints of lingonberry, graphite, and red licorice. The finish is dry, and its well-managed and polished dusty tannins linger nicely. We would pair this Petite Sirah with roasted duck in a plum sauce or braised short ribs. Enjoy - KWGTP
Winemaker Notes: Bursts with energy, boasting cranberry and olallieberry aromas, complemented by delicate floral notes from the addition of Grenache Blanc. Delightful red and blue fruit on the palate, leading to a finish of exquisite length, concentration, and well- balanced structure.
