Wine Review: This pitch-black colored Cabernet Sauvignon opens with a blueberry pie bouquet with hints of black currant, nutmeg, and leather. On the palate, this wine is medium plus bodied with integrated medium acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced, round and polished. The flavor profile is a tasty blueberry pie and milk chocolate blend with notes of cedar plank, stony minerality, and black currant. We also detected hints of black licorice, black tea, and toasted coconut. The finish is dry, and its flavors and bold and dusty tannins build-up and are very nicely prolonged. The Tasting Panel would pair this Cab with Roy’s rib roast or with Stuart’s beef wellington. Enjoy – KWGTP
Winemaker Notes: "My signature on the label indicates that this wine is a personal statement for me, looking to encompass three decades of experience and history in a single bottle." - Jerry Lohr
