Wine Review: This pale straw-colored Pinot Grigio from J. Dusi is very good. It opens with a red apple and faint pineapple bouquet with hints of cantaloupe, lemon, and florals. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with medium acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced, round and fresh. The flavor profile is a gentle stony mineral and Anjou pear blend with notes of almond and nectarine. We also detected some hints of green apple. The finish is dry and refreshing. Its flavors linger nicely. The Tasting Panel would pair this Pinot Grigio with clams in white wine and garlic broth over linguini or with a mahi-mahi sandwich. Enjoy – KWGTP

Winemaker Notes: Don't be fooled by the color. Our 2021 Pinot Grigio starts with a lovely floral, citrus nose and a slight honeydew and vanilla finish. Bright and soft, like a ray of afternoon sunshine. You’ll be pleasantly surprised by the full mouth feel with balanced acidity that lends tartness, like biting into a white nectarine. The finish has hints of agave. It’s the perfect wine for a hot summer day. Tart, embracing, and refreshing – great with food.
