Wine Review: This slightly cloudy and dark ruby colored Zinfandel from J. Dusi opens with a brambly raspberry and fruitcake bouquet with hints of craisin. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with integrated plus acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced, round and very fruit forward. The flavor profile is craisin and tart red plum blend with notes of stone dust and oolong tea. We also detected hints of cedar. The finish is dry, and its flavors, acidity and very dusty tannins stick around for a while. The Tasting Panel would pair this Zinny Zin with grilled bratwurst. Enjoy – KWGTP
