Wine Review: This dark red colored Zinfandel from J. Dusi opens with a red raspberry and red plum bouquet with hints of pomegranate and topsoil. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is nicely balanced, round and fruit forward. The flavor profile is red raspberry and craisin blend with notes of red plum and cola. The finish is dry and its flavors and moderate tannins drift away nicely. The Tasting Panel would serve this Zinfandel with mole chicken, Morimoto ribs, or steak tips. Enjoy – KWGTP

Winemaker Notes: Our flagship Zinfandel. Our 2021 Dante Dusi Zinfandel is glistening garnet in color. Earthy and herbaceous on the nose, this Zinfandel jumps straight into deep dark fruit upon opening. Its mid palette is lush with blackberry and plum. Layers of minerals, dark chocolate, toast, and spice makes for a fascinating and exciting vintage.
